Shooting begins on Viggo Mortensen’s new film, The Dead don’t Hurt

A few weeks ago, filming began in Canada on the western written, directed and starring Viggo Mortensen, The Dead Don’t Hurt.

Costume Designer: Anne Dixon

In the second film directed by the well-known American actor, he will co-star with Vicky Krieps in a “western love story” set during the American Civil War. Vivienne Le Coudy, who left her hometown to live with her husband Holger in the West, will have to survive his departure for the war and the abuses of the powerful local ranchers and sheriffs. On Holger’s return, husband and wife will have to face these threats and themselves, changed after what they have lived apart.

It is a pleasure for Peris Costumes to see and work with Anne Dixon, who also worked with us on the period production The song of names.

Here you can see what he wrote after working with us, an article for which we are very grateful and proud. We will be on the lookout for new images and news.
