The #CostumeAwardsGuild2021 awards ceremony was broadcast on social media.
It was one of the most interesting broadcasts we have had this season.
The CDG gave us an agile and elegant ceremony, with great use of audiovisual packages to highlight the artwork of its nominees.
Awards:
- Ann Roth took home the CDG for Best Costumes in Period Film for her work on Ma Raineys’s Black Bottom.
- Bina Daigeler took the win for Best Costume Design in the Science Fiction or Fantasy Film category for Mulan.
- Nancy Steiner completed the trio of winners by taking the CDG in Contemporary Film for Promising Young Woman.
