On 16 December, the eagerly awaited 6 episodes of the second season of the show Sisi will be released on RTL+ and Beta platforms.

The second season begins with the long-awaited birth of Elisabeth and Francisco José’s son. However, far from bringing happiness to the couple and stability to the Empire, Prussia threatens war, and Sisi meets not only Hungary’s poverty, but also a man who will shake the marriage.
Andreas Gutzeit returns as showrunner of the series, produced by Story House Productions. The cast includes Dominique Devenport as Sissi and Jannik Schümann as Franz Joseph.
