The Malaga Festival, which began in 1998, has grown and evolved throughout its 27 editions, consolidating itself as a crucial event for the dissemination and promotion of Spanish cinema. Since its beginnings, it has pursued ambitious goals, including fostering national and international recognition of Spanish cinema and contributing to the cultural flourishing of Malaga as an open city.
Now in its 27th year, the Malaga Festival is a powerful driving force for the development of Spanish cinema. Presenting the best of the film scene, from documentaries to short films, the event becomes a diverse showcase that celebrates creativity and artistic quality in the field of the seventh art.
