From the majestic ball gowns to the day-to-day stylings, they have been carefully prepared for this series which has been filmed in various locations, including the United States, Argentina, Holland and Spain.
Filming was directed by Agustina Macri, eldest daughter of former Argentinean President Mauricio Macri, and some of the scenes in Europe were under the responsibility of the Dutch production company working with the Starz+ platform.
The six episodes take place during Máxima’s adolescence and youth, until the age of 22, when she emigrated to New York. It was there that her life took an unexpected turn when she met King William through a mutual friend.
