How Peris Costumes dressed the protagonists of Los pacientes del doctor García

The RTVE series Los pacientes del doctor García was recently released, as we recently reported in a news item. From April 28th the 10 episodes will be available on Netflix. To bring the story to life, the costume designer Montse Sancho rented costumes from our stock for thousands of extras from the 30s, 40s and 70s; selecting each of the pieces, complements and accessories with care and historical rigour together with her costume team.

In the tailor’s workshop led by Javier Varas, the costumes of the main actors were made to measure. Following the designs of the costume designer, elegant men’s suits from the 1940s, military uniforms from the Spanish Civil War, casual pieces from the 1970s and women’s outfits from different periods and classes were handmade by hand. We had the pleasure of having with us in Peris Montse and her costume team who have participated in the whole process to achieve the styles of all the actors and extras.
