Filming begins in August of RTVE’s new period project, based on the novel “Tea Rooms” by Luisa Carnes. It tells the story of the employees of an aristocratic tea room located near the Puerta del Sol in Madrid.
It is filmed in natural scenery of old Madrid and on two plates totaling more than 2500m2.

A careful staging, with innovative technical aspects. Luis Santamaría and Humberto Miró will be in charge of the production and Liliana Bocanegra, Isaac Cantero, Pedro Martínez and David Montoya will be in charge of the direction.
The plot is a chronicle centered on the real experiences of the women of the time. Set in Madrid in 1930, the story shows the portrait of an interesting era from the daily life of the workers and customers of a nearby tea room in the center of Madrid. It portrays an era of new times and great changes in which there is room for good living and glamour.
