Costume Designer: Julio Suárez.
Renowned Argentinian costume designer with whom we have also worked on the Mexican production Malverde.
According to Bayona, “In the mountain, the characters dressed with what they found, generally clothes from other passengers…” “It’s layers and layers creating a chaotic mix of garments to which Julio added a variety of textures and patterns to enhance the visual beauty of the image.” “In addition, he managed to make the garments show the passage of time by deteriorating their appearance. The process of aging the costumes, technically known as ‘ageing,’ was incredibly complex.”
