The PLATINO Ibero-American Film and Audiovisual Awards have released their short list for their ninth edition, consisting of twenty nominations per category.
A few days before the awards ceremony on the 1st of May in Madrid, the four finalists in each category will be selected.
In the film section, ‘El buen patrón’ stands out. Fernando León de Aranoa’s film has accumulated eleven nominations for the PLATINO awards and is the absolute leader of the film shortlist. In the series categories, Cardo and Hierro stand out.
The PLATINO Ibero-American Film Awards, promoted by EGEDA (Entidad de Gestión de Derechos de los Productores Audiovisuales), with FIPCA (Federación Iberoamericana de Productores Cinematográficos y Audiovisuales) bring together productions from 23 Ibero-American countries.
