Santo is the first Spanish-Brazilian co-production shot between Spain and Brazil for Netflix. A project that aims to unite two of the platform’s strongest markets, which has already announced its premiere on 16 September.
The series has been filmed in Spanish and Portuguese, Santo is fast-paced and there is no lack of action or intrigue in its episodes.
It tells the story of Santo, the world’s most wanted drug trafficker whose face has never been revealed. Two cops are after him, Cardona (Bruno Gagliasso) and Millán (Raúl Arévalo), who are initially opposites, but are forced to work as a team in order to solve the case.
