“Zorro”, directed by the trio of Javier Quintas Jiménez, Jorge Saavedra and José Luis Alegría, promises an interesting experience for its audience.
Amazon Prime’s adaptation of “Zorro” has costume designer Clara Bilbao in charge of costume design.
Clara, recognized for her outstanding work in film and television productions, has created a repertoire of costumes that are not only visually stunning, but also tell the story of each character with symbolic elements that reflect the evolution of the plot.
Peris Costumes has worked on the costumes for this production, making tailoring and footwear for the main actors. It has also provided stock and elements for the art department of the series.
In this project, the costumes capture the essence of 19th century California, fusing historical authenticity with a contemporary twist. The costumes are not only a style statement, but also an integral part of the narrative, contributing to the construction of the characters and the atmosphere of the series.
Starring Miguel Bernardeau, the cast is completed by Renata Notni, Dalia Xiuhcoatl, Emiliano Zurita, Elia Galera, Paco Tous, Rodolfo Sancho, Cristo Fernández, Francisco Reyes, Cecilia Suárez, Luis Tosar and Ana Layevska.shot in Gran Canaria, with script by Carlos Portela.
We leave you some images of the fittings in Peris Costumes with the main actor trying some of the pieces made in our workshop. We are happy to have worked on this series that has a first class international team, a challenge that we assume with responsibility and enthusiasm.
