The Little Mermaid’ returns to the big screen in a live-action remake. Directed by Rob Marshall and starring Halle Bailey as Ariel.
The film was shot mostly on the Italian island of Sardinia and suffered major delays due to the pandemic.

In 1989, Disney brought its own version of the fairy tale, which tells the story of Ariel, to the screen. The cast of the 2023 remake has been the talk of the town, as have the trailers and numerous previews of the rejuvenated songs that made the 1989 original such a hit.
