Peris Costumes has won the Madrid Open City Awards in the Leisure and Entertainment category for its extraordinary capacity to promote Madrid as an international leisure and entertainment destination.
In this first edition, the awards recognise the efforts and merits of the most important and relevant sectors of our region. Among the jury, the following stand out: Begoña Villacis Deputy Mayoress of Madrid City Council, Andrés Rodríguez CEO of Spain Media, Jesús Sérvulo González Editor-in-Chief of Economy and Business in El País, María Benjumea Founder and President of South Summit and Ángel Asensio President of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services of Madrid and Irene Cano General Manager of Meta Iberia.
Madrid Open City is an independent and apolitical non-profit association made up of institutions, companies, organisations and entrepreneurs who are leaders in their fields. These awards have the institutional and financial support of the Madrid City Council, the Community of Madrid and the Madrid business community. This award recognises Peris’ activity and contribution as a company that promotes the dissemination of Madrid’s image.
Madrid City has selected the Alapar Foundation to create the trophies, an organisation that works for the rights of people with intellectual disabilities.
