On Saturday 11th February the Goya 2023 gala took place, where the different categories of the most outstanding Spanish films of the previous year were awarded.
We would like to sincerely congratulate the winner of the award for Best Costume Design, Fernando García, for his work at Modelo 77. It was a pleasure to have Fernando and his wardrobe team with us, as well as the leading actors Javier Gutiérrez and Miguel Herrán, for whom custom-made costumes were made. The whole Peris Costumes team is proud to have participated in this project, both in the making or selection of pieces from our stock to recreate the period in which the story takes place. The film also won the awards for Best Make-up and Hairstyling, Best Special Effects, Best Art Direction and Best Production Direction.
We would also like to congratulate the other nominees for Best Costume Design, especially those who worked with us: Nerea Torrijos for Irati, Suevia Sampelayo for La piedad, and Cristina Rodríguez for Malnazidos. Our congratulations to the rest of the nominees and winners of the other categories, in a year full of quality productions.
