In Nuremberg, Russell Crowe plays Hermann Göring, second in command of the Nazi regime, after his surrender at the end of World War II. With his imposing presence, slicked-back hair, and deep German accent conveying implacable self-satisfaction, Crowe brings this historical figure to life. Göring, along with 21 other members of the Nazi high command, is taken to a prison in Nuremberg to stand trial for war crimes in the first international tribunal of its kind in history.
