Screen Malta and the Malta Film Commission organised an open day on Sunday 21 January, offering visitors a guided tour of the fortress.
The impressive Gladiator set, where photography has been restricted, includes a reproduction of the Roman Colosseum and various sections of an imperial palace.
Peris Costumes provided costumes for an exhibition to coincide with this event with iconic costumes such as: Troy, Assasin’s Creed, The Gilded Age and others.
The Malta Film Studios were also open and will include exhibits related to Jurassic World and Foundation.
Visitors had the opportunity to get up close and personal with the studio’s water tanks and special effects machine, a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of cinema and discover the secrets behind these spectacular productions.
