Filming has begun on ‘Sira’, the eagerly awaited sequel to El tiempo entre costuras, which brings back Sira Quiroga, played once again by Adriana Ugarte.
Based on the novel of the same name by María Dueñas and directed by Marina Seresesky and Olga Osorio, the series will be filmed in national and international locations that will recreate the historical settings of the plot, such as Madrid, Bizkaia, and Morocco.
In this new installment, Sira must face the world after World War II and reinvent herself in order to survive. From Jerusalem to London and Madrid, the protagonist will be involved in secrets and missions that will test her intelligence, courage, and heart.
The costume team, led by Usue Peña, has carefully selected garments to bring this exciting story to life. Alongside Adriana Ugarte, Peter Vives, Rubén Cortada, Carlos Santos, Carlos Olalla, and Francesc Garrido return, joined by Elvira Mínguez, Darío Grandinetti, and Cecilia Suárez, as well as international additions such as Jeremy Neumark Jones, Borja Luna, Orla O’Leary, Kathleen Gati, Melina Mathews, Sharon Mann, and Sue Flack.
