On January 29, Netflix will premiere the highly anticipated fourth season of Bridgerton, one of the platform’s most addictive series, inspired by Julia Quinn’s beloved novels and known for launching talents like Jonathan Bailey. This new season takes us back to the lavish court of Queen Charlotte to follow the journey of the most artistic—and commitment-shy—Bridgerton brother: Benedict Bridgerton (Luke Thompson).
The upcoming episodes —released in two parts, with the second arriving on February 26— adapt the third book in Quinn’s saga, An Offer From a Gentleman, a Cinderella-inspired story in which Benedict becomes captivated by a mysterious Silver Lady at his mother’s masquerade ball. Unaware of her true identity, his search eventually leads him to Sophie, a maid who deeply moves him, though their social differences make any relationship seemingly impossible.

As fans of Quinn’s novels know, Shonda Rhimes’ production often takes creative liberties in its adaptations, embracing narrative reinvention and inclusivity — and this new season promises to be no exception..
