Prime Video today released the first images from Young Sherlock, the highly anticipated series that reimagines the origin of the legendary detective created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Directed and executive produced by Guy Ritchie, the show will debut on the platform in 2026, promising an irreverent, dynamic, and action-packed take on a young Sherlock Holmes.
The protagonist is Hero Fiennes Tiffin (After), who portrays Sherlock at around 19 years old — thrown into a mystery that will change his life forever. The series follows his early adventures as a detective in a story full of adrenaline and sharp humor, hallmarks of the acclaimed filmmaker.
Costume design is entrusted to Jany Temime, renowned for her work on major international productions, whose vision brings a powerful and renewed aesthetic to the world of Sherlock Holmes.
The cast also includes Dónal Finn (The Wheel of Time), Zine Tseng (The Three-Body Problem), Joseph Fiennes (The Handmaid’s Tale), Natascha McElhone (Halo), Max Irons (Condor) and Colin Firth (The King’s Speech).
Young Sherlock will premiere exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories next year.
