On 13th December, “Es el Enemigo”, the second feature film directed by Alexis Morante, known for his work in “El universo de Óliver”, will be released in cinemas.

The cast of this eagerly awaited production includes Óscar Lasarte, who debuts in his first leading role playing Miguel Gila. He is accompanied by outstanding actors such as Carlos Cuevas (“Merlí”), Natalia De Molina (winner of the Goya Award for Best Actress for “Techo y comida”), Salva Reina (“321 días en Míchigan”), Iván Villanueva (“Reyes de la noche”), Antonio Bachiller (“A cambio de nada”), David Elvira, Adelfa Calvo (Goya Award for Best Supporting Actress for “El autor”), Pedro Casablanc (“Saben aquell”) and Vicente Romero (ASECAN Award for Best Actor for “Intemperie”). The film will be distributed by Filmax.
It is a joint production of Pecado Films, Arcadia Motion Pictures and Philmo Capital AIE, in co-production with Nu Boyana Portugal. It also has the participation of RTVE, Movistar Plus+, Canal Sur and 3Cat, and financing from the ICAA and CreaSGR.
In 1936 in Madrid, Miguel Gila’s peaceful life is shaken by the Civil War. Forced to fight, he and his friend Pedro face battles, firing squads and prison. “Es el Enemigo” promises to be a box-office hit and an outstanding addition to contemporary cinema.
