In the framework of the Patron Saint’s Day, the Town Council of San Lorenzo de El Escorial has awarded the Honours and Distinctions of the Royal Site in a ceremony held at the Royal Coliseum of Carlos III.
Among the award winners, Peris Costumes has been distinguished with a Plaque of Recognition for its exceptional links with the festivities and traditions of San Lorenzo de El Escorial for more than half a century.
Julio Cornejo, representing the Peris team, received the award with emotion, stressing that this recognition validates the company’s hard work and dedication over the years. We are immensely grateful for this honour,’ said Cornejo.
The event also highlighted the work of the Patrimonio Nacional Guide-Employees and the Escolanía del Real Monasterio, reinforcing the importance of preserving and disseminating the rich history and culture of San Lorenzo de El Escorial.
