“Münter & Kandinsky” tells the story of the years Gabriele Münter and Wassily Kandinsky lived together, an extraordinary and passionate artistic couple.
Both were co-founders of the Blue Rider, one of the most famous groups of artists of the Modern Classical period.

As Kandinsky gains fame, artistic and financial recognition, life at his side is far from easy. The couple’s relationship becomes increasingly complicated, exhausting and toxic.
The filming of “Münter & Kandinsky” began in Berlin, followed by Regensburg and Kallmünz and then shot on original locations in and around Murnau.
Directed by Marcus O. Rosenmüller, this co-production is expected to hit cinemas in spring 2024.
