Costume designer Kasia Walicka Maimone once again shines in this season with costumes that reflect the splendour and tensions of New York high society in the period after the “Opera War”. This new season will hit the screens in June .
As the old powers fall apart, other families are fighting to take their place at the top. Between political ambitions, risky industrial bets and family rivalries, costume plays a key role in the narrative of this historical drama.
The American Gilded Age was a period of major transformation, in which empires were forged, but no victory came without sacrifice. In the following Opera War, the old elite is weakened, and others prepare to take control of high society.
