Designer Helena Sanchís has won the 2026 Goya Award for Best Costume Design for the film La cena, consolidating her talent as one of the leading figures in the sector.
In a highly competitive category, Nicoletta Taranta was also nominated for El cautivo, Nerea Torrijos for Gaua, Ana Martínez Fesser for Los Domingos, and Anna Aguilà for Romería.
The gala, organised by the Spanish Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, celebrates its 40th edition this Saturday, consolidating its position as the big night for Spanish cinema. The ceremony takes place at the Centre de Conventcions Internacional de Barcelona, in Barcelona.
