Filming wraps on Gordon, the new Netflix series

Filming has wrapped on Gordon, the original Netflix series that explores one of the darkest periods in Argentina’s recent history. The city of Bariloche was one of the main filming locations, providing a key visual backdrop for the production’s narrative.

The series stars Rodrigo de la Serna, who plays Aníbal Gordon, one of the most infamous criminals of the 1970s in Argentina. His character moves between common crime and illegal repression, becoming a symbol of the parastatal violence of the time.

Aníbal Gordon was involved in high-profile robberies, such as the assault on a bank in Patagonia. He later went on to work for the Triple A and as an inorganic agent for the SIDE (State Intelligence Service), where he was known under the aliases ‘Silva’ or ‘Coronel Ezcurra’. He was arrested in 1984 for the kidnapping of politician Guillermo Patricio Kelly and sentenced in 1986 to 16 years in prison for kidnappings and the murder of three political dissidents between 1973 and 1974. He died in prison in 1987.

The costume design was handled by costume designer Julio Suárez, whose team undertook a large-scale project: over the course of 109 days of filming, they dressed more than 3,800 extras, recreating a complex and decisive era with rigour and detail.

We are proud to have provided the costumes for this project, contributing to the visual and narrative construction of a series that approaches history with depth, commitment and artistic excellence.
