Peris Costumes is proud to participate in the production of the new Movistar Plus+ original series, “La Vida Breve”.
Costume designer Helena Sanchis (Velvet), leads the costume design in this production that explores the ephemeral reign of Luis I, son of Felipe V, marking a brief but significant chapter in the history of Spain.
It is a comedy created by Cristóbal Garrido and Adolfo Valor, directed by Diego Núñez Irigoyen and Adolfo Valor. The cast includes Javier Gutiérrez, Leonor Watling, Carlos Scholz and Alicia Armenteros, with the participation of actors such as Pepe Viyuela, Claudia Traisac, Carlos González, Jorge Usón, Eric Masip, César Tormo, Marta Hazas and Héctor Carballo, among others.
Thanks to the collaboration with Patrimonio Nacional, filming has been possible in impressive locations such as the Palacio y Jardines de la Quinta del Duque, the Palacio Real y Jardines de Aranjuez, as well as the Palacio Real y Jardines de la Granja de San Ildefonso.
In addition, “La Vida Breve” will take place in various emblematic spaces in Madrid, such as the Palacio de Santoña, the Cartuja de Talamanca del Jarama, the Palacio de Fernán Núñez, the Finca La Granjilla in El Escorial and the Prado Museum. This project promises to immerse the audience in a historical journey full of comedy and visual splendour, where the costumes and clothing provided by Peris Costumes will shine.
