In an exclusive interview for Peris Costumes, costume designer Nerea Torrijos shares the secrets behind the creation of the costumes for the film “20.000 Species of Bees”. With a unique visual narrative, Nerea has managed to capture the essence of this story written and directed by Estibaliz Urresola Solaguren.
Nerea says “… For me working in Peris Costumes is a dream, you know that …. Since I started my career I have always worked with Peris. They make my job very easy, they have everything I need. When they don’t have it, they go out of their way to get it. It’s a huge place, it often makes it easier for us not to have to go shopping and to have such a large stock so close at hand, the truth is that it’s a luxury…”.
Nominated as a finalist in the Best Costume Design category at the Goya Awards, Torrijos takes us behind the scenes to explore the creative process in a work where the focus is on the diversity of people and genders, as well as landscapes and rhythms.
