‘Frankenstein’ comes to life: Guillermo del Toro’s ambitious Netflix project dazzles with first trailer

Netflix has unveiled the official trailer for Frankenstein, the long-awaited reinterpretation of Mary Shelley’s classic directed by Guillermo del Toro. The Mexican director, renowned for his mastery of the horror and fantasy genre, dazzles with a visually stunning first trailer.

With a first-rate cast led by Oscar Isaac, Mia Goth, Jacob Elordi, Lars Mikkelsen, David Bradley and Christian Convery, the trailer reveals a gothic, dark and deeply personal aesthetic that confirms the ambition of the project. It is a work long dreamed of by Del Toro, who has spent decades imagining his definitive version of the myth.

Costume designer Kate Hawley, has been in charge of the costume design, building a visual universe that accompanies the narrative and emotional intensity of the film.

We are grateful and proud to have contributed our own costumes to bring this unique vision to life. Participating in this project has been a privilege, and we celebrate the talent of the entire creative team involved.

Frankenstein promises to be one of the biggest releases of the year.

While we await its arrival on the platform, this first trailer already invites us to immerse ourselves in a story that is as classic as it is renewed.
