Modigliani, three days in Montparnasse: the eagerly awaited release of the last film directed by Johnny Depp

Modigliani, three days in Montparnasse, the last film directed by the actor Johnny Depp, hits theatres. This biographical drama takes us back to Paris in 1916 to immerse ourselves in the life of the iconic painter Amedeo Modigliani, played by Riccardo Scamarcio. During 72 frenetic hours, the film shows us the artist’s internal and external conflicts, his relationships with figures such as Maurice Utrillo, Chaim Soutine and his muse Beatrice Hastings, as well as his confrontation with an American collector who could change his destiny.

The costume design by Penny Rose immerses us in the bohemian atmosphere of the period, with a careful selection of pieces that reflect the essence of the artists and Parisian society of the time. In Modigliani, three days in Montparnasse, the costumes not only complement the story, but also become a key tool in bringing each character to life.

Riccardo Scamarcio, who plays Modigliani, has praised the experience of working under Depp’s direction, highlighting the creative freedom the director gave him to develop his character. He also noted Depp’s willingness to rewrite scenes and dialogue, an approach that contributed to the film’s authenticity.

With an exceptional cast and meticulous art direction, Modigliani, three days in Montparnasse promises to be a unique cinematic work that celebrates the life and art of one of the most iconic painters of the 20th century. We are proud and grateful to be part of this project.
