Amazon Prime Video has announced the premiere date for The House of David, the highly anticipated historical series developed by Jon Erwin. The production, which will debut on the platform on 27 February 2025, will tell the story of King David, one of the most iconic figures of ancient Israel and Judah.
The series is produced by The Wonder Project, the studio of Erwin and Kelly Merryman Hoogstraten, in collaboration with Amazon MGM Studios. Cast members include Michael Iskander as David, Ali Suliman as King Saul, Ayelet Zurer as Queen Ahinoam, Stephen Lang as the prophet Samuel and Martyn Ford as Goliath.
Filming took place in Greece and Calgary during 2024. Figurinist Mayou Trikieroti has selected costumes that will take us back in time. The Peris Costumes team is proud to be part of this project.
With a combination of epic drama and biblical history, The House of David promises to be one of the most anticipated productions of the year on Prime Video.
