La Promesa’, RTVE and STUDIOCANAL’s hit drama in collaboration with Bambú Producciones, has been distinguished as the best telenovela at the 52nd International Emmy Awards, held in New York.
This victory marks a milestone for the Spanish audiovisual industry, being the first time that Spain has received this prestigious award in the telenovela category. Since its nomination on 19 September, the team of ‘La Promesa’ had been dreaming of this moment, and now the recognition has become a reality that transcends borders.
The award was collected by Josep Cister, creator and executive producer, and Ramón Campos, CEO of Bambú Producciones, at a gala that brought together the best of world television at the New York Hilton Midtown.
