Radio Televisión Española (RTVE) is expanding its international video-on-demand platform, RTVE Play+, which from Tuesday 22 October will be available in Asia and Oceania.
With this expansion, RTVE’s Premium content offer, which includes series, documentaries and flagship programmes, reaches countries such as Japan, India, Hong Kong, South Korea and Australia.
RTVE Play+ was until now available in America and Europe, and with this global launch it seeks to continue positioning the Spanish audiovisual industry internationally. The platform, which allows access by monthly or annual subscription, offers new users a free seven-day trial period.
This move is part of RTVE’s internationalisation strategy, which aims to bring the best of its productions to audiences around the world, underlining its commitment to quality content backed by the experience of Spanish public television.
