At Peris Costumes, we would like to congratulate all the nominees and winners of the CAFTCAD Awards, which celebrate the contributions of Canadian costume artists and designers to the international film and television industry.
Among the winners, the team behind Frankenstein was recognized with the Key Textile Artist award, led by Meghan Ancheta. The project also included Assistant Textile Artists Aimee Tobolka, Olivia Aubrecht, Sylvie Smith and Robert Mathieson, together with Assistant Designer Renee Fontana, Costume Supervisor Cori Burchell, and Costume Designer Kate Hawley.
These awards highlight the talent, creativity, and craftsmanship that bring costume design to life on screen, recognizing the essential role of textile and costume teams in the filmmaking process.
