The new film by Judith Colell, produced by Coming Soon Films, Diagonal, and Bulletproof Cupid, will be presented at the 70th Valladolid International Film Festival (SEMINCI), taking place from October 24 to November 1.
“Frontera” is a historical thriller about a group of people who, despite the risks, break the rules to help refugees escaping Nazi repression.
Costume design is by Mercè Paloma, who worked with Peris Costumes to recreate the historical period with great accuracy.
The film was shot over six weeks in the Pallars region and around Barcelona, starring Miki Esparbé, María Rodríguez Soto, Asier Etxeandía, Bruna Cusí, Jordi Sánchez, Kevin Janssens, and Joren Seldeslachts.
