On January 31 the VIII Gaudí Prize were held. The Catalan Film Academy organizes and gives annual awards to disseminate and promote the best films, artists and technicians of the Catalan film industry. This year the big surprise has been «Truman» that has swept many awards. But also media recognition of the six awards won. The most prominent, the aforementioned best film in non-Catalan language, which is considered the other best movie of the evening.
