The Spanish Princess, an upcoming American drama TV miniseries that is set to premiere soon. The storyline is based on the novels by The Constant Princess and The King’s Curse by Philippa Gregory with costume designer Phoebe de Gaye.
What we know so far is that it will include 8 episodes and we already have the trailer to watch the first scenes of the mini TV-series.
It tells the story of «Catherine of Aragon” who was a beautiful and young princess of Spain who was promised the English throne since she was a child. Little did she know when she arrives in England, that her husband, Prince Arthur would die suddlently, leaving her being the first European female ambassador in a royal court in Tudor England.
Peris Costumes has provided many of the jewels that were used during the shooting of the show. Two of the most unique and wonderful pieces are the crown and the female hairpiece with pearls. It is important to highlight that the crown was made and tailored to the desires and needs of the Costume Designer
