‘Sordo’ will be the third film directed by Alfonso Cortés-Cavanillas, after ‘The days not lived’ and “Deconstructing Dani”.
‘Sordo’ is set in 1944. Anselmo, the protagonist, has gone to the mountain after the Spanish Civil War and will go through many difficulties. In the film, Imanol Arias is a Spanish military who suffers in a very special way the Civil War, like a brother’s fight, and establishes a relation with the group of maquis. It’s a very poetic film.
