Costume designer Sonia Grande, renowned for her work in costume design with directors like Almodóvar, Woody Allen or Trueba received the “Passion for the Cinema” award. Sonia went on stage very excited to pick the prize, which was given by costume designer Pepe Reyes.
Despite the cold, the public waited out of El Gran Teatro de Cáceres to see the winners. The act began with a tribute to Pedro Almodóvar, Bambikina, played “La Llorona”, one of Chavela Vargas’ most well-known songs, while images from Reyes Abades appeared, one of the most beloved people from the festival.
