Peris Costumes is involved in the historical thriller “Nuremberg,” starring Rami Malek, Russell Crowe and Michael Shannon

“It’s built like a thriller,” Rami Malek recently stated when talking about Nuremberg, his upcoming film project set during the historic Nuremberg Trials following World War II. Directed and written by James Vanderbilt (Zodiac, The Amazing Spider-Man), the film is based on the book The Nazi and the Psychiatrist, by Jack El-Hai.

We collaborated on the costumes for this ambitious production, which combines courtroom drama with elements of psychological suspense. The story follows an American psychiatrist charged with assessing the mental health of high-ranking Nazi detainees to determine whether they are fit to face justice.

Oscar winner Malek shares the screen with an A-list cast that includes Russell Crowe and Michael Shannon. In the actor’s own words, “There are moments when you find yourself laughing and you think, ‘I can’t believe I’m laughing at this drama.’ It’s all of that. And Crowe’s work is on another level.”

Peris Costumes is proud to have been part of creating the visual universe of this production, contributing carefully selected period pieces to authentically reflect the post-war atmosphere.

Pending its official release date, Nuremberg promises to be one of the great titles of contemporary historical cinema.
