Starz has announced the premiere of Outlander: Blood of My Blood for Friday, August 8. New episodes will air weekly on Fridays at 8 p.m. in the U.S. and at 9 p.m. in Canada.

This Outlander spin-off tells two parallel love stories: that of Julia Moriston (Hermione Corfield) and Henry Beauchamp (Jeremy Irvine), and that of Ellen MacKenzie (Harriet Slater) and Brian Fraser (Jamie Roy).
Set between the battlefields of World War I and the majestic Highlands of 18th century Scotland, the series promises intense emotions, loyalty and desire, in a spectacular visual and narrative journey.
The costumes are a key part of bringing these two worlds, so different in time, to life. Designer Trisha Biggar has worked to recreate period uniforms, ball gowns and traditional Scottish attire with historical rigor and detail, bringing authenticity and depth to each scene.
